## How it works

1. **Upload your PDF** — Drag and drop your PDF file or click to select it from your device. The document loads locally in your browser memory.
2. **Choose or detect fields** — Click Auto-detect fields to convert detected lines and labels into a draft, or pick a field type from the top palette to place fields by hand.
3. **Adjust field position and properties** — Drag fields to reposition and pull the bottom-right handle to resize. Use the properties panel to assign unique field names, set required flags, or list dropdown options.
