How do I convert PowerPoint to PDF?

Are slides converted in the right order?
Yes. The slide order is read from the presentation's own slide list, not from the internal file names. PowerPoint does not rename slide parts when you reorder slides, so tools that sort by file name export a reordered deck scrambled.
Does PowerPoint to PDF preserve images and charts?
No. This is a text converter: slide text, tables, bullet levels, chart labels and SmartArt text are extracted. Pictures, chart graphics, shape fills, slide backgrounds, transitions, animations and speaker notes are not included, and the tool tells you exactly what it left out after each conversion.
Which languages are supported?
Latin and Western European text, Central European and Baltic Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, and Devanagari (Hindi, Marathi, Nepali, Sanskrit) are embedded as real glyphs. A deck in a script we cannot embed yet — Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai, Vietnamese — is refused with a message naming the script, instead of producing blank pages.
What page size does the PDF use?
By default the presentation's own slide size, read from the file, so a 4:3 or custom-size deck is not re-cropped. You can override it with 16:9, 4:3 or landscape A4.
What happens to hidden slides and long slides?
Hidden slides are skipped, and the count is reported. A slide with more text than fits on one page continues onto extra pages labelled as continuations, so nothing is silently dropped.
Can I convert an old .ppt file?
Not directly. Files saved as .ppt by PowerPoint 97-2003 use a binary format that cannot be read in the browser. Open the file in PowerPoint, Google Slides or LibreOffice Impress and save it as .pptx first — the tool detects .ppt and tells you this.
