How do I compress an image without losing quality?
Use our Compress Image tool. It searches for the highest quality setting that still meets your size target, so you lose as little detail as possible. You can name a target in KB or MB, or drag quality yourself and watch the file size respond.
Can I remove the background from an image for free?
Yes. The Remove Background tool runs an AI segmentation model in your browser and returns a transparent PNG. There is no account, no watermark and no per-image limit.
What image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, BMP, GIF, TIFF, AVIF, ICO and SVG. Most tools read and write between them, and the Universal Image Converter handles any pair in one place.
Are my images safe when using these tools?
