Candidates can either upload a scanned snapshot of a handwritten signature or sketch a digital signature directly on screen with responsive touch smoothing. The application automates aspect ratio scaling, pure white background isolation, and file weight compression.
Processing runs entirely within browser memory through HTML5 Canvas, ensuring that personal signature vectors and biometric marks are never transferred to remote servers or stored in third-party databases. The resulting file is an optimized JPEG image calibrated to the strict pixel and kilobyte specifications enforced by examination portals.
How it works
1. Select input mode between upload and sketch
Switch between the Upload Signature tab to provide an existing photograph or scan, and the Draw Signature tab to sign dynamically using your mouse cursor, stylus, or mobile touchscreen.
2. Select recruitment board preset or custom dimensions
Choose your target portal preset such as SSC/IBPS/Bank Exams, UPSC, State PSC, Railway RRB, or GATE to automatically set mandated pixel dimensions and file size ceilings, or define custom dimensions.
3. Fine-tune stroke characteristics and dimensional bounds
In draw mode, pick black or blue ink and adjust stroke thickness against the faint baseline guide; in upload mode, verify custom width, height, and maximum kilobyte values.

Each mouse movement or touch event computes a midpoint between the previous and current points, rendering smooth, continuous curves that mimic natural liquid ink flow. The virtual pad includes a faint dotted baseline guideline located at 70% of canvas height, helping users keep their signatures level without baking the guideline into the final exported graphic.
Letterbox containment and minimum byte padding
Uploading a mobile photo of a paper signature typically brings uneven margins and random aspect ratios. If an application blindly stretches that image to fill 140×60 pixels, the letters become elongated or squashed, altering the candidate's authentic handwriting.
This tool applies proportional contain scaling: it fills the background with pure white (RGB 255, 255, 255) and draws the signature centered within the target rectangle, preserving stroke geometry. After rendering, the 15-stage binary compression search discovers the optimal JPEG quality under your target maximum. If the resulting file weighs less than the portal's minimum ceiling (such as 10 KB), the tool appends zero bytes past the JPEG End of Image marker to satisfy automated portal validators without degrading contrast.
