Privacy Policy

1. Your Files Stay on Your Device

TryDocsy processes files entirely inside your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. The PDFs, images and documents you open in our tools are never uploaded to our servers, never stored in the cloud, and never seen by us or anyone else. When you close the tab, the file data is discarded from memory.

Some tools download helper data the first time you use them, such as OCR language files or the background-removal model. These are one-way downloads to your browser; none of your file content is sent anywhere in the process.

2. Information We Collect

We have no accounts, logins or payments, so we never ask for your name, address or card details to use a tool. The limited information we do handle is:

• ·Usage analytics. Google Analytics records pages visited, time on page, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location (country or city, derived from your IP address).
• ·Server logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs technical request data such as IP address, browser user agent and the page requested, for security and to keep the site running.
• ·Advertising data. Google and its partners collect cookie and device identifiers to show ads, as described in the next section.
• ·Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense)

TryDocsy is free because it is supported by ads served through Google AdSense. In line with Google's requirements:

• ·Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• ·Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• ·You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
• ·To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
• ·Third-party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads on this site through AdSense and may set their own cookies. Their use of that data is governed by their own privacy policies.

If you opt out of personalized ads you will still see ads, but they will be based on the page content rather than your browsing history. We do not choose the individual ads shown, and we never share your files or messages with advertisers.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. The cookies on TryDocsy come from:

• ·Google Analytics (for example _ga, _ga_*): to count visits and understand how the site is used.
• ·Google AdSense and DoubleClick (for example __gads, __gpi, IDE): to serve ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and measure ad performance.

Separately from cookies, a few tools save data in your own browser storage so they work better: your light/dark theme choice, the details you type into the Form Auto-Fill tool, and unsaved PDF editor changes for the current tab. This data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is removed when you clear your browser's site data.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop our tools from working, though ads may become less relevant.

5. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

Where the law requires consent for cookies and personalized ads, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's consent message asks for your choice before personalized advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings link shown with that message, or by clearing cookies for this site.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following providers. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

• ·Google Analytics: usage statistics (Google Privacy Policy; opt-out browser add-on)
• ·Google AdSense: advertising (how Google uses cookies in advertising)
• ·Netlify: website hosting and server logs (Netlify Privacy Policy)
• ·Resend: delivers contact-form messages to our inbox (Resend Privacy Policy)

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for purposes other than those described here.

7. Data Retention and Security

Because your files never leave your device, there is no file data for us to keep. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you and handle any follow-up. The site is served only over HTTPS with a strict Content Security Policy.

8. Children's Privacy

TryDocsy is a general-audience website and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, California's CCPA/CPRA, or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have the right to:

• ·Access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it
• ·Withdraw consent or object to processing, including personalized advertising
• ·Opt out of Google Analytics and personalized ads using the links above
• ·Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
