If the subject is not centered in the original capture, crop the picture manually using an image editor before uploading to ensure proper framing.

Canvas background underlay and JPEG compression behavior

Before the tool draws your image, the canvas fills with white (#ffffff). This background color is visible only through transparent sections of transparent PNG files.
